Delicious noodles, efficient service, warm ambiance. Appreciate having two options for hot sauce. The braised pork belly was tasty and tender. The golden crispy pork was AMAZING.

What a find! We typically go to Mr. Szechuan across the street but decided to try something new and we were glad we did! We both ordered the C1 and it was solid - crispy pork was great and the other assortment of meats as well. Price was good, service was attentive, and parking was pretty easy. The vibe was pretty casual and we will definitely be back!

This place is friendly and food is delicious. Ordered: Green onion pancake - crispy and fluffy. Yummy, could use some more green onions in it tho Noodles with pork and beef - delicious and flavorful. The pork had crispy skin and beef was tender. Salt & pepper pork chops - delicious pork chops, served with veggies and rice. Love that they serve soup with all the entrees. Their hot chili oil was a great addition to the dishes. We will be coming back again.

Came back to Guilin Rice Noodles House after a few months and prices have unfortunately gone up since the last time I was here only about 2 months ago. Our party of 2 was seated almost immediately at 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. The menu is pretty straightforward, with different combinations of proteins with the guilin rice noodles (GRN) with different combinations of protein, noodles with soup, or rice plates, with some side dishes. There are condiments of spicy chili sauce, chili oil, and white vinegar. The chili is spicier than you would expect, so start with a little and make sure to use the vinegar to balance the spice! Everyone gets complimentary tea as well. C1. House Special GRN ($17.50): this is a lot of noodles and usually enough for two meals for me, with a generous serving of proteins, including crispy skin pork, tendon, and more. There's a minimal amount of pickled vegetable and peanuts in this as well, and the simple savory soup on the side is perfect for a little relief from the spice if you add chili to your noodles. The GRN are very elastic and chewy, which makes for a fun eating experience. A11. Spicy and Sour Chicken Feet ($10.95) this was not too spicy or sour, but somewhat sweet, which was unexpected. Definitely enough to share between 3-4 people if everyone is also getting noodles. Also comes with some pickled banana peppers (can be quite spicy), celery, and a lemon slice. Overall, GRN is still a good value and a delicious meal, but with the higher prices may not be as much of a go to everyday meal as it was previously. Still excited for the next time I can come back for some spicy and sour noodles!

This place feels like a hidden gem. Came across it after playing some pickleball nearby and was craving some noodles. Definitely hit the spot. The crispy pork was oh so crispy and the food came out really fast too. I don't think I've ever had noodles like this before and was very pleasantly surprised. Price is good too so can't complain. Service is quick and the restaurant is pretty casual. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

My new favorite noodle spot in SF! The golden crispy pork is OUT OF THIS WORLD - the skin is so crispy and crunchy, and the meat is the perfect combo of fatty and lean. The dry noodles comes with a side of clear broth, and sauce on the bottom. I also really like the vinegar, chili oil and chili paste they have on each table so you can add to your own taste. Oh my god I'm still thinking about the crispy pork. The staff here are super friendly, I wanted to order a side of the pickled vegetable but she just ended up giving me extra

GRN is in our neighborhood and we drive by all the time, but only decided to check it out now. Don't know why we waited so long. Prices are reasonable and we enjoyed each dish we ordered. Started with the pig ears - tasty. The potstickers arrived next - maybe a bit more doughy than what I like but it was still good. Ordered the GNR with crispy pork which comes with a side of broth. May not look like much, but the texture of the noodles and all the toppings made this a tasty bowl. The dry fried chicken wings arrived last. I liked the sauce - good but would've liked the chicken to be a bit crisper. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will return. Note - caution if there's a peanut allergy as many dishes contained peanuts.

I drive past this place all the time and serendipitously decided to stop by this place after playing pickleball down the street. We were presently surprised the by the food and the affordable price. We ordered 4 bowls of noodles and 3 of us ordered the House GRN and my vegan sister opted for the vegetable GRN bowl. - House GRN: came with basically all the meats and a side of soup. I love that the dish included the crispy skin pork amongst different cuts of meat because it gave the dish such a nice crunchy texture. The noodles were nicely spiced and you follow each noodle bite with a slurp of soup. At the end, you pour the soup in the noodles to finish off the bowl. This hit the spot :) - vegetable GRN: this came with the same noodles, but in veggie broth and oddly had quail eggs which she gave us. Overall, each bowl cost about $18 WITH tax and tips which is pretty affordable considering how expensive food is nowadays. VERDICT: Would definitely return :)

I got the GRN with beef tripe and crispy pork, and we got the chicken wings to share. First, the noodles themselves were tasty- chewy and flavorful. The meat was a bit on the oily side, but it tasted good (just couldn't finish it). The chicken wings were 10/10- crispy, juicy, and flavorful. These are one of the best wings I've had. The ambiance is casual and the staff were nice.

It's on that block of Taraval off 19th Avenue with the guilty pleasure Chinese spots like House of Pancakes (review: https://yelp.to/uonzBdRDEc). I've seen this corner restaurant usually out of the corner of my eye before treacherously crossing 19th. I finally decided to give it a try for an early dinner before heading home, even though I was completely ignorant of what Guilin Rice Noodles actually were. Sure enough, the menu was dominated by what looked to be bowls of noodles topped with either beef, crispy pork, tripe, or some combination thereof. You can have it with just the noodles or in a soup like ramen or forego the noodles and go with rice. I refused to be unadventurous and ordered the $13.95 Braised Pork Belly Rice Noodles (photo: https://yelp.to/Zkx9qxacH9). The bowl arrived with a satisfying portion of thickly sliced pork belly with half a hard-boiled soy sauce egg, peanuts, and chopped green beans, all of it topping the noodles. The noodles were slippery devils but had enough chew to be tasty without being overly filling. I also had the $7.95 Cucumber Salad with Minced Garlic which maintained its crunch without getting too spicy (photo: https://yelp.to/3vyIfAI7HE). FOOD - 4 stars...I like Guilin rice noodles now and how the pork belly and cucumbers worked well together AMBIANCE - 4 stars...clean and organized in here...I like how they camouflage the speeding 19th Avenue traffic SERVICE - 5 stars...very attentive and grateful for my business TOTAL - 4 stars...a nice option in Parkside for a quick and satisfying meal RELATED - Exploring the Sunset?
